Stormy Sandy

I hope everyone made it through the storm safe and without any serious damage to their property! I don't know about you, but I am excited to get back to school tomorrow!

We had a great day on Friday! We had so much fun at the breast cancer walk. After walking (or in some cases, running!) around the field numerous times, we still had enough energy to do the Cha-Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle! Then in the afternoon, we had the Jet Pride assembly! Mackenzie was recognized as the student of the month in our class, for the month of October. Also, Emily's mom was kind enough to send in delicious Halloween cookies for us to enjoy as an afternoon snack. They were delicious!! Thank you, Mrs.Bishop!!

I had the chance to speak with a few parents on Friday afternoon and with their input, I am working to make this blog more helpful. Starting tomorrow, I will have a tab specifically explaining homework. This tab will also be used for reminders about upcoming tests/quizzes and projects that may be due.

Also, I have created a "Contact Miss McLoone" tab complete with my e-mail address and a "contact me" button. You can use either way to get in touch with me or you can always call me at the school during the day.

**Don't forget to send in your parent release form for media recording if you would  like your child's image to appear in the class blog. I know the kids really get a kick out of seeing themselves online**
