Star Student of the Week

On November 12th, we will start having a classroom Star Student of the Week. While your child is the Star Student, each day of the week will consist of an exciting event or activity to honor him/her and tohelp us get to know our special classmate. The student order was chosen using a random name generator to be fair.

Schedule of Events:

Monday-Share your "Star of the Week" poster with the class. We will use the letters in your name to make new words. At the end of the week, you will get a WORDLE filled with all the new words we made using the letters of your name.

Tuesday-Show & Tell Day-Bring something to school that you would love to share with the class. We are excited to see what you bring!

Wednesday-Bring in your favorite book from home to share with the class. You can read the book to your friends or ask Miss McLoone to read it for you. You can also ask your parents to come and read a story to our class, too

Thursday-Friends & Family Day. Don't forget to bring in pictures of your friends & family to share with the class. Some of these pictures will be on display on the "Star of the Week" poster all week so I'm sure you friends will have lots of questions to ask by Thursday!

Friday-Shooting Star Day! All of the students in the class will write you a special letter explaining why they think you're such a star! You will also get to eat lunch in the class with Miss McLoone and a few of your closest friends!
